Green Investment Asia Sustainability Fund I
Aloe is pleased to announce the formation of a co-investment Fund "Green Investment Asia Sustainability Fund I" (GIASF) for a total amount of €26 million in partnership with:
- IFC (the International Finance Corporation): a member of the World Bank Group
- Proparco: a subsidiary of Agence Française du Développement (AFD) specialised in Private Equity
- Swedfund: Sweden's risk capital company specialised in investments in developing countries
GIASF will co-invest alongside with Aloe Environment Fund II in any company that has an Asian angle.
GIASF gives Aloe the opportunity to strengthen its strategy, namely to support European companies to expand their activities in fast growing economies in Asia.
Aloe also views the inclusion of the IFC into the Fund as a strong strategic partner for the Fund which will assist Aloe to leverage our return on equity and to negotiate better investment terms and conditions when making new investments.
