Legion of Honour

Jean-Pascal Tranié was appointed "Chevalier de L'Orde National de la Légion d'Honneur" (Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour) on April 15th 2009 for services to the nation during his work in Aloe Private Equity in promoting sustainable investment in France. The decoration was presented by Jean-Louis Borloo, French Minister for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Territory Planning, during a ceremony at the Ministry.
The National Order of the Legion of Honour was established by Napoleon I to reward and commend civilians and soldiers. The Legion of Honour, which is awarded to both French citizens and foreigners, is the highest decoration in France and is aimed at rewarding people who have actively contributed to the greatness of the nation.
